These days, 'social welfare' is an often heard and well-known term. In discussions about the situation in our society, 'social welfare' is a convenient term to explain the needs of the population. Politicians use the term in describing their policies in efforts to get voters to elect them. As a result of the widespread use of social welfare to cover a wide range of situations, the exact meaning of the term has become unclear.
